I’m not sure why but rappers and the entire population at large are just starting to jump on to M.I.A.’s Paper Planes track, which while being a bit weird also gives bloggers/music snobs a chance to say “Psh, I’ve had that track since _____”. (You know music bloggers are music snobs, just some more than others).

Santogold & Diplo dropped one of my top three mixtapes of the year a couple weeks back and they just released a remix for one of the exclusives on that mixtape featuring M.I.A. The original version had some street fighter samples and Gorilla Zoe on it and the new one features Esau Mwamwaya with some fitting vocals. Grab the whole mixtape a couple of posts down.
